Alumni Profiles

Aspiring to become an entrepreneur with a global presence, I chose to enroll at APU in order to study in a truly international environment. Over the course of four years, I interacted with people from many different countries, including during an exchange program in Austria, where I formed strong bonds with international students from more than 30 countries. Through learning alongside people with values different from those of Japanese students, I feel that I developed the ability to overcome communication barriers. In the rugby club, to which I belonged, I also brought together players from diverse national backgrounds as one team and successfully achieved promotion to a higher league. Inspired by the experience of taking on major challenges together as a team, I joined a general trading company after graduation. Creating business from scratch every day is both challenging and deeply fulfilling. Going forward, I hope to continue striving to become a positive role model for young people who aspire to walk their own path in life with confidence and pride.
