ABOUT APU

A multicultural environment that embodies “freedom, peace and humanity,” “international mutual understanding,” and “the future shape of the Asia Pacific region.”
APU was established with the founding principles of "Freedom, Peace and Humanity," "International Mutual Understanding," and "The Future shape of the Asia Pacific region". Since the establishment of the university, we have set out the concept that "50% of the student body are international students from more than 50 countries/regions, and 50% of the faculty are foreign faculty members" to set a high goal of becoming a truly global university. Twenty years have passed since the establishment, and the total number of countries and regions that our international students came from has reached 163. Currently, students from 102 countries and regions are studying here. Furthermore, APU has set a vision for the year 2030 which is "APU Graduates possess the power to change the world," and we will continue to take steps towards creating a world-class global learning community.
