Having grown up in a family that ran its own business, I have always viewed business as something that inspires and moves people. Wanting to engage in business on a larger scale and with a wider range of people, I chose to enroll at APU, a multicultural university where approximately half of the students and faculty members come from overseas. One of the most memorable experiences during my time at APU was participating as a founding member of the Library Support Staff (now ALRCS). Working with team members from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, we discussed and designed organizational structures and events while respecting different values and perspectives. Through this experience, I learned the joy of contributing to a team by making the most of my individuality. This realization later became a key motivation for applying to my current employer. Supported by a corporate culture that values individuality, I have steadily built my career through roles in domestic sales, management of overseas divisions, and overseas assignments. Drawing on the cross-cultural adaptability I developed at APU, I hope to continue growing and succeeding in a global environment.
